This styling project introduced me to new skills whilst also helping me to develop my existing ones. Half of the module included working in a group to do a Meet the Maker feature and the other half was independent.

I really enjoyed pushing myself out of my comfort zone and learning new techniques to help with my work.

I redesigned an office based in Plymouth for Devon Outdoor, an outdoor company based in North Devon for my last module in the first year.

This module taught me a lot of new skills including how to use AutoCAD, how to create a professional presentation and how to analyse a brand to help inform my work.

This interdisciplinary module was all about creativity and collaboration. We worked in groups to create film-inspired lampshades and it all came together in a final photoshoot.

We worked with textile and photography students to learn new skills that would benefit our project. We were taught how to use the cameras and photography studios.

The end of the module was finished off with a whole year exhibition which showcased all first-year interdisciplinary work.
